• Medical department which comprises of medical officers/dental surgeons, pharmacy, medical lab science, radiographer, physiotherapy, optometry, medical records/health information management, clinical psychology, biomedical engineer, public health officer, general nursing/midwives, Social Welfare Officer/Nutritionist, Occupational Therapist and Occupational Therapist. Note: applicants with the above qualification must have their practicing license in addition.
• Engineering department includes; Control Engineering, Naval Architecture/Ship Design, Marine Engineering (Mechanical), Marine Engineering (Electrical), Mechatronics Engineering. Moreover, being a member of Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) and Council of Registered Engineers of Nigeria (COREN) will be of an advantage.                                                                                                                                                                • Information and Communication Technology with options on Networking and Network Administration, Programming and Software Development, Server and Database Administration, Cyber Security, Computer Forensics/Digital Investigation, Robotics and also Artificial Intelligence. 
• lastly, Legal Service department: LLB and BL. LLM in International Maritime Law, International Law or Forensic Law is an added advantage

NIGERIAN NAVY RECRUITMENT

GENERAL INFORMATION TO APPLICANTS ON NIGERIAN NAVY DSSC RECRUITMENT 2024


All applicants must take note of the following as much as:
1. Nationality: First, interested applicants must be Nigerians by birth.
2. Submission of false/fake information and documents will lead to automatic disqualification of the candidates and subsequent arrest for persecution of such candidate afterward.
3. Every applicant must make sure they have Upper Credit for those using HND while Second Class Upper Division for those using First Degree. Generally, Being computer literate will be an added advantage.
4. Each applicants must possess certificates of full registration with their respective statutory professional bodies in Nigeria above all.                                                                                                                                      5. The Federal Ministry of Education must authenticate all certificate obtain from foreign institutions and  then all applicants must submit  photocopies of all certificates at the aptitude test centres.

FURTHERMORE 

6. Generally, O-level result in any of WAEC, NECO, GCE and its equivalent with credits in five subjects including Mathematics and English in not more than two sittings is compulsory.
7. All candidates must present their NYSC discharge certificate or letter of exemption from NYSC for enlistment.
8. Height for male applicants must not be less than 1.68 meters tall while female applicants must not be less than 1.65 meters tall.

EQUALLY IMPORTANT 

9.  Require age is between 22 to 28 years of age by March 25, 2024. At the same time, only medical officers particularly should not be more than 30 years of age.
11. Serving military Personnel and other paramilitary services personnel are therefore advice to obtain a duly sign letter of attestation by their heads of their units
