The West African Examination Council is calling on qualified candidates to apply for their 2024 job recruitment. Thus, this application is opened for qualified applicants to fill all the vacant positions at its Headquarters offices in Accra, Ghana and the Nigerian National Office in Lagos.   • Assistant Registrar II: these includes Auto Mechanics, Auto Body and spray Painting, Automobile Parts Merchandizing.
  • Assistant Registrar II which include Christian Religious Studies.
  • ASST. Registrar II which also include Civic Education.
  • Assistant Registrar II: this include the following Computer Studies, GSM Phone, Maintenance and Repair Applied / Basic Electricity Auto Electrical Work, and lastly Data processing.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
  • All intended applicants must have at least five (5) passes in SSCE / WAEC including English Language and Mathematics at not more than one (1) sitting.
  • Furthermore, applicants with two (2) sitting SSCE / WAEC must have at least six (6) credit passes including Mathematics and English Language.
  • Applicant must have a minimum of BSC in relevant academic fields (Law, Medical, Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, Education etc.). Some of the positions requires MSC in relevant fields. Click here to view Job details for each of the above listed positions.
  • Applicants from Nigeria must have completed their compulsory one (1) year National Youths Service Corps (NYSC). With some post NYSC experience.

IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS / DESIRABLE ATTRIBUTES

Applicants for any of the above listed position must have the following ability:

  • Applicants must be able to use Personal Computers
  • He / she must be able to work with MS Office package and must have knowledge of web-based systems in addition.
  • Applicant must be a team player and also with good inter-personal skills and must open and able to lead a change in addition.
  • Must possess influencing, analytical and good communication skills.
  • Applicant must also be an organizer / planner with flexible ability. Lastly, must be able to successfully implement ideas in addition.

DURATION OF APPLICATION

Application form should be completed and submitted on or before 09 July, 2024.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

Use the steps below for a hitch free application process.

  • Click here to visit WAEC recruitment application portal.
  • Click on REGISTER on the top right of the portal home page. Allow to load
  • Fill your user registration details. Ensure that you use a valid email address. Note that names should not be abbreviated. Then click on the CREATE ACCOUNT button.
  • Click on VERIFY ACCOUNT on the upper left hand side of the homepage. Enter your email address, password and the verification code that is sent to your email box. Then click the VERIFY ACCOUNT button.
  • Fill the application form carefully. A scanned passport photograph of size between 7kb to 30kb and dimension 275 x 314 pixels.
  • Supply your educational qualifications (secondary and tertiary with uploaded scanned copies of certificates obtained). The sizes of the uploaded documents must be between 50kb to 120kb, width between 400pixels to 1200pixels and a height of 600pixels to 1500pixels.
  • Preview your entries to avoid mistakes as this make lead to your disqualification after application.
  • Finally, click on SUBMIT APPLICATION. Print out the application slip. Take note of your application ID number. And always check your email address for more information.
