The following are the duties and responsibilities of a Business Manager-CBD (Infrastructure) at FirstBank Nigeria.

  • First, responsible to providing financial advisory and also support services to clients to ensure that their corporate needs are fulfilled.
  • Secondly, responsible to resuscitate dormant accounts.
  • Also have the duty of coaching team members to work cross-functionally to achieve team’s and group’s target.
  • Responsible for assigning target to the team members.
  • Also have the responsibility to identify and establish new relationships, consistent with the bank’s commercial objectives, in order for bank’s market share to be maximized.
  • Also identify the credit worthiness / risk appetite of portfolio client and also introduce them to relevant bank products / services accordingly to maximize portfolio revenue.
  • Will review customer’s credit request proposed by the RM and make necessary recommendation to CAP.
  • Must understand the competition and formulate counter strategy to safeguard bank position and further more, to win new businesses.
  • Also responsible for maintaining high client satisfaction ratings through exceptional working relationships with clients with a view to increasing the Bank’s market share.
  • Furthermore, will ensure that high quality of credit portfolio is maintained at all times in compliance with the Bank’s credit policies, standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Finally, responsible to Cross Selling of bank products and services to existing and prospective relationships to enhance business potentials and deepen market share.
