Important Requirements / Qualification Nigerian Army 87 Recruitment Exercise 2024

Read the following to know if you are qualified to apply:

  • Interested applicants must be a Nigerian citizen by birth, must be single, and lastly must owned NIN (National Identification Number) slip.
  • Prospective applicant must be psychologically, medically, and lastly physically fit in line with the Nigerian Army Standard.
  • Applicant must not have been convicted of any criminal charges by the court of law.
  • Interested applicant must have their birth certificate or age declaration issued by any one of the following; The National Population, Hospitals and Local Government.
  • Applicant must also have a valid Certificate of State of Origin.
  • Male applicants must have the minimum height of 1.68 while the female is 1.65.
  • The minimum age is 18 years or more than 22 years for the non-trades men/women while trades-men / women must not be more 26 years of age as at 30 of June, 2024.
  • A minimum of four (4) credit passes in O-Level Certificate (WAEC, GCE, NECO, or NABTEB) is needed at not maximum of two sittings.

Method Of Application

Interested applicant should use the following steps for a successful registration.

  • Visit the Recruitment Portal through https://recruitment.army.mil.ng
  • Create a USERNAME and PASSWORD
  • Fill the APPLICATION FORM.
  • Preview for errors
  • Click SUBMIT to finish your registration.
  • Print the REGISTRATION SLIP. Then print out all the GUARANTOR FORM for appropriate signings. Make sure the guarantor forms are properly signed.
  • Come with the appropriately signed GUARANTOR FORM and REGISTRATION SLIP to the designated state recruitment centres.

General Instructions

  • Applicant are to note that there will be no Pre-selection Computer Based Test.
  • There shall be no special centre for recruitments.
  • There shall be no Zonal Screening Exercise.
  • All screening prospective candidates shall take place at the candidate’s State of Origin.
  • Candidates are to note that they are no permitted to bring any electronic or recording devices to the screening venue.
  • Candidates must not have body tattoos or body inscriptions.
  • They must also present the original copies of their certificates (primary – secondary)
  • Applicants must not belong to any secret cult/society/fraternity.
  • Forging of results will lead to automatic withdrawing from Depot when discovered.
  • The recruit exercise is free, therefore do not give money to anyone to aid the process.
  • Candidates must go with their NIN slip.
  • Names of successful applicants will be shortlisted on the Nigerian Army website for screening.
  • Those shortlisted should endeavor to report their respective state of origin for their screening from June 20 – July 3 2024.
  • Ability to swim will be an added advantage to all applicants.
