The following are the requirements for admission for UNIMED Post UTME/DE 2024:

JAMB Requirements: Candidates must have chosen Ondo State University of Medical Sciences as their first choice institution during their JAMB registration. Those who did not make the school their first choice institution must carry out a change of institution. Then chose Ondo State University of Medical Sciences as first choice institution. JAMB UTME SUBJECT Requirement: All programmes / courses in the various faculties required English Language, Biology, Chemistry and Physics. Those applying for programmes such as Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, or Computer Science must have the following UTME subject combination: English Language, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.

O-Level Requirements: All applicants for UNIMED Post UTME/DE 2024 must to have a minimum of five (5) credits passes in their O-level (WAEC, NECO or GEC) relevant subjects including Mathematics and English Language as specified by the individual faculty.  All the five (5) credit passes must be obtained at not more than two sittings. Furthermore, applicants for Medicine and Surgery, Dentistry, and Doctor of Physiotherapy programmes must obtained their five credit at one sitting.

What are the requirements for Direct Entry candidates for UNIMED Post-UTME/DE 2024?

JAMB Requirements: Direct Entry applicants for UNIMED Post UTME/DE 2024 must have applied first through JAMB. More so, during the registration applicants must have chosen Ondo State University of Medical Sciences as their first choice institution. This is the first step of being eligible to apply.

Educational Qualification: Direct Entry applicants must possess a minimum of ten (10) point aggregate in their relevant A-level certificate or B.Sc. (Hons). More so, the Degree must be at a minimum of Second Class (Lower Division) or a National Diploma (ND) in the Basic Medical or Basic Science subjects at a minimum of Lower Credit. Applicants for Medicine and Surgery and Dentistry programmes must have at least thirteen (13) points aggregate in their relevant A-level certificates. Also, Second Class Upper Division for those using B.Sc. (Hons) in any one of the Basic Medical Science Courses.

Lastly, applicants for Nursing Science programme must have at least first (1st) degree or its equivalent in health related and basic science courses. This must be in a minimum of Second Class Lower Honours. Those with Lower Credit in related fields are also eligible to apply in addition.

Academic Transcript: Direct Entry applicants are to request for their Official Academic Transcript from their previous institution. This must be forwarded directly from the previous institution to the Registrar, University of Medical Sciences Ondo. This process can be done through the Email address: transcripts@unimed.edu.ng or via courier service to the following UNIMED address: Office of the Registrar, University of Medical Sciences, Laje Road Campus, Within Medical Village, Ondo City, Ondo State, Nigeria. Finally, Direct Entry applicants must know that without the submission of their previous official academic transcript, they will not be considered for admission.
